Recently, Niu Shunsheng, Chairman of the Huaihua Municipal Political Consultative Conference, led a team to conduct a special research visit to Hunan Kangrui Coating Technology Co., Ltd. The team conducted on-site inspections of the company’s production and operations, technological innovation, and foreign trade exports, precisely identifying the enterprise’s development needs and injecting confidence and momentum into the high-quality development of the private economy. Xiao Lixing, Vice Chairwoman of the Municipal Political Consultative Conference, Chen Haixia, Chairwoman of the Municipal Science and Technology Association, and heads of relevant departments accompanied the research team. Liu Jianxue, Chairman of Kangrui Coating, received the delegation throughout the visit and provided a detailed report on the company’s overall development situation.

Chairman Niu Shunsheng and his delegation visited康瑞 Coatings’ production workshop, the provincial-level enterprise technology R&D center, and the product exhibition area one after another. Through on-site inspections, briefings, and interactive exchanges, they gained a comprehensive understanding of the company’s development journey, production and operations, technological innovation, and market expansion. They fully affirmed the company’s achievements in taking root in Huaihua and deeply cultivating the coatings industry.

Focus on production and operations

Anchor the foundation of the real economy and solidify the development platform.

In the modernized production workshop, automated production lines are operating smoothly, and eco-friendly coating products are being filled and packaged precisely by intelligent equipment. Chairman Liu Jianxue introduced that since its establishment in 1999, Kangrui Coatings has grown from an initial small paint workshop into a national-level high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, production, sales, and construction services. Today, the company employs over 100 people, among whom nearly 50% are management and R&D technical professionals. Its product range covers dozens of types, including interior and exterior latex paints, true stone paints, and fire-retardant coatings.

“Faced with market changes, we’re maintaining steady growth through a diversification strategy. We’re not only deepening our presence in the local markets of the five southwestern provinces and establishing long-term partnerships with well-known enterprises such as Country Garden and China Construction, but also expanding into the rural housing market by developing a ‘New Rural Special Supply’ product line,” said Chairman Liu Jianxue in his detailed report on the company’s business operations. Chairman Niu Shunsheng asked carefully about raw material procurement, capacity utilization rates, and the implementation of policies designed to benefit businesses. He emphasized, “Private enterprises are an important pillar of Huaihua’s high-quality development. We must firmly uphold safety and environmental protection standards, continuously strengthen our production management foundations, and ensure that relevant departments precisely align with enterprise needs to effectively implement and deliver the benefits of various support policies.”

Focus on foreign trade exports

Expanding into international markets showcases the strength of Hunan-based enterprises.

In the product showcase area, we learned that Kangrui Paint’s “Xiang Meirui” brand has successfully been exported to over 30 countries and regions, including the Americas, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Its star products, such as natural true stone paint, are widely used in numerous landmark projects across Africa thanks to their outstanding weather resistance and long-lasting color retention.

“From the land of Xiangxi to the vibrant soils of Africa, we’ve established a solid foothold in the international market by developing customized products tailored to the climates of different regions and deepening our localized services,” said Liu Jianxue, Chairman of the Board. Facing global market opportunities, the company is planning to expand its foreign trade team and focus on tapping into markets along the Belt and Road countries.

Chairman Liu Jianxue stated that this research visit has enabled the company to feel the deep care and concern from the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government.
